Global data-center and GPU capacity monitor — 24 August 2026

This update covers a bounded public-evidence sample of 71 named project records across the Americas, APAC, EMEA, and additional emerging markets, plus 23 GPU, accelerator, and cloud-topology records . It does not support a defensible global IT-capacity total, electricity-capacity total, or installed-GPU total. Operating, under-construction, contracted, planned, and speculative signals are kept separate; IT load is not added to facility power, grid connection, generation, PPA, or program capacity.

The clearest source-labelled IT markers are Start Campus SINES at 1.2 GW secured IT , Applied Digital Polaris Forge 1 at 100 MW live critical IT , Pacific Sunny at 64 MW IT load , STT Jakarta 2 at 24 MW IT load , iXAfrica NBOX1.1 at 4.5 MW live IT , and Raxio ET1 at 3 MW IT . GPU evidence is similarly state-qualified: xAI has conflicting 180,000 200,000 H100 claims; Israel-1 reports 2,048 H100s ; Sakura reports about 1,100 Blackwell GPUs operating ; Barcelona announced 10,224 H200s ; DataSection ordered procured 4,696 B200s ; and Yotta NM1 received more than 4,000 H100s historically . Planned, ordered, delivered, operating, system-level, and cloud-ceiling quantities are not summed.
