Global data-center and GPU capacity monitor — 25 August 2026

As of 25 August 2026 UTC, this update covers a bounded public-evidence sample across the Americas, APAC, EMEA, and additional markets, with 71 named project records in the core register plus separate child and watchlist signals. It does not support a defensible global IT-capacity total, electricity-capacity total, or installed-GPU total. The clearest source-labelled IT markers are Start Campus SINES at 1.2 GW secured IT, Applied Digital Polaris Forge 1 at 100 MW live critical IT, Pacific Sunny at 64 MW IT load, STT Jakarta 2 at 24 MW IT load, iXAfrica at 4.5 MW live IT, and Raxio ET1 at 3 MW IT; these are different assets and stages, not a subtotal. SINES, Polaris Forge 1, Pacific Sunny, STT Jakarta 2, iXAfrica, Raxio ET1

GPU evidence is equally state-qualified: xAI has conflicting 180,000 and 200,000 H100 claims; China Telecom Qingyang reports 23,600 cards; Israel-1 reports 2,048 H100s across 256 systems; Sakura reports about 1,100 operating Blackwell GPUs; Barcelona announced 10,224 H200s; DataSection ordered or procured 4,696 B200s; and Yotta NM1 received more than 4,000 H100s historically. Targets, orders, deliveries, systems, cloud ceilings, and operating claims are not summed.

The report keeps electricity capacity, IT load, facility capacity, interconnection, generation, PPA, GPU inventory, cloud availability, financing, and price proxies separate. Unknown or conflicting fields remain visible for review rather than being normalized into a misleading global total.
